After playing a goalless draw with Smart FC in their last home game at Ozoro, Warri Wolves, on Sunday, rose to the occasion in Awka, Anambra State by outclassing Edel FC by 2-1 to brighten their chances of picking one of the promotion tickets from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the elite premier league this year.

We want to return to the elite premier league this year, and our Governor is giving Warri Wolves all they need to achieve it. At our level in Delta Sports Commission, we will continue to encourage them to remain focus and win their remaining matches,” Oborevwore stated.

Also speaking yesterday, the Director General, Festus Ohwojero said: “We expect more victories from Warri Wolves because there are other teams eying the promotion tickets. We will continue to supports them.”
