Oasis Live 2025: BBC set to broadcast live coverage as reunion shows kick off
Oasis mania has taken hold and with the highly-anticipated comeback concerts in Cardiff on the horizon and the BBC is set to delight fans with a dedicated livestream.
The coverage aligns with the celebrated return of Noel and Liam Gallagher this weekend.
Presenter Jason Mohammad teams up with Tina Daheley, noted for filling in on Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show, to host the event set against the scenic backdrop of the Principality Stadium.
Title-drop for the programme: Oasis: Countdown to the Comeback starts at 1pm on Friday, July 4.
Fans tuning in won't catch the concert live from inside the stadium but can expect a blend of interviews with special guests and roving reporters mingling with fans around the city.
Post-performance buzz will be captured with on-the-spot reactions and live reviews as the festivities push on into the evening, reports Wales Online.
Jason took to his Instagram story with excitement for the upcoming broadcast: "As a Cardiff boy and @oasis fan so looking forward to this show with @tinadaheley.
"See you Friday" followed by an okay hand symbol.
Dummy check done on backstory: Recently, Liam Gallagher assured devotees that the vocals heard during Monday's soundcheck at the stadium weren't his.
This tongue-in-cheek confirmation came after reports emerged of 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' being sung while sunshine drenched the venue.
Responding to a video of soundchecks, Liam Gallagher commented on X: "Mmm I'm not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill man he's just so angry all the time I don't know who he thinks he is as far as I'm concerned he's just a bigmouth from up north".
When a fan queried if it was him rehearsing, Liam quipped: "I've been in my pool all
