Oakes resigns as Alpine F1 boss; Briatore takes over
LONDON : Oliver Oakes has resigned as principal of the Renault-owned Alpine Formula One team with immediate effect, the British-based team said on Tuesday.
"As of today, Flavio Briatore will continue as Executive Advisor and will also be covering the duties previously performed by Oliver Oakes," the team said.
