Nurse and Vanisova scored unassisted goals 11 seconds apart as the Goldeneyes broke the game open with three goals in the second period.

Izzy Daniel and Abigail Boreen also scored for Vancouver (4-1-2-7).

Goaltender Kristen Campbell stopped 24 shots for her first shutout of the season against her former team.

Elaine Chuli made 23 saves for Toronto (4-1-3-7), which has lost six of its last seven games.

Daniel scored early in the second period off a nice give-and-go with Jenn Garnder. Chuli stopped the first shot but the puck rebounded in off Daniel for her third goal of the year.
