NSW bowl first against Bulls in Shield
New South Wales have opted to bowl first after winning the toss against Queensland in their Sheffield Shield fixture.
NSW skipper Daniel Hughes hopes his pacemen can cash in on bowler-friendly conditions at the Gabba in the game starting on Wednesday.
The Bulls line-up includes Test batters Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja but the Blues are missing all their international players.
The likes of Pat Cummins, Steve Smith and Josh Hazlewood are on duty for Australia's Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka starting on Friday while Nathan Lyon is sitting out the Shield game.
