Nottingham Forest vs West Ham prediction and odds: Irons tipped to succeed at City Ground

After suffering opening weekend defeats, both West Ham United and Nottingham Forest will be looking pick up their first points when the two sides meet at the City Ground. West Ham lost to Manchester City at the London Stadium after an Erling Haaland brace while Forest lost to Newcastle United.

The Irons are 7/8 favourites with Betway ahead of their trip while Forest are 16/5 and a draw is 13/5 ahead of their Premier League clash.

The Hammers had a tough match last weekend against the reigning Premier League champions as they fell to a 2-0 defeat as Haaland made his mark on his league debut.

Steve Cooper surprised many after leading Forest from the relegation zone to Championship play-off winners last season but now has the difficult challenge staying up in the Premier League. Forest have made 11 new signings to the first-team and will need to gel quickly if they have a fighting chance.

For the otherside, it has to be Jesse Lingard for Forest with many looking to see how the former West Ham loanee does at his new club. He had a debut to forget at St James' Park last weekend but that could soon change under
