Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United LIVE Premier League updates, TV information and Luke Shaw latest

Manchester United take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

United responded well to their defeat at Newcastle by securing back-to-back wins against Brentford and Everton, but the midweek draw against Sevilla was disappointing, considering a two-goal lead was wasted in the final stages.

The result was also made worse by injuries to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez. It's important that United bounce back against Forest, although it won't be a straightforward game, as Steve Cooper's side are fighting for survival.

Regarding the team news, Marcus Rashford remains unavailable, whilst Varane and Martinez are also set to miss the game. However, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay could return to the side after their respective brief spells on the sidelines.

Ten Hag sounded optimistic when talking about Shaw on Friday and it seems like he could start.

Erik ten Hag wants to keep Anthony Martial at United next season, despite making a world-class striker his top transfer target for this summer.

United want to sign a striker during the summer window, with Tottenham's Harry Kane the leading target. There is also interest in Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos.

But splashing the cash on a striker might not mean the end of Martial's eight-year career at United, with Ten Hag confident the Frenchman can stay fit enough to play a part in his squad at Old Trafford.
