Nottingham Forest stance on Premier League transfer revealed amid Bournemouth claim

Here is the latest Nottingham Forest news on Thursday, April 28, 2022, as attention turns to the weekend and the visit of Swansea City to the City Ground.

Swansea City boss Russell Martin said Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore should have been sent off in Tuesday night's 3-3 draw between the sides.

Moore came off the bench to score twice as he inspired a comeback against the Swans after the Cherries found themselves 3-0 down. But there was a flashpoint just 11 minutes after he came when Flynn Downes felt the force of a challenge from the striker and Martin said it warranted a red card.

"Losing Ben was a massive moment for us, to lose our only defender who is over 6ft tall against a side with the athleticism and physical prowess of Bournemouth, who went really direct, is a factor,” said Martin.

Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has fired back at former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan over his negativity surrounding Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper.

The former Wolves striker took talkSPORT pundit Jordan to task live on air as they discussed Forest who are having an unbelievable season with promotion to the Premier League a distinct possibility.

The Reds are just three points behind Bournemouth with three games to play but should they not achieve second they are an odds-on bet to make the play-offs. Cooper has had two shots at the Championship play-offs before during his time at Swansea but they missed out on each occasion.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly expressed an interest in making Philip Zinckernagel's stay at the City
