Nottingham Forest loan star's future assessed as fresh transfer link emerges

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a summer move for former Manchester City youngster Cameron Humphreys.

But the Reds are not the only ones said to be eyeing up the defender. A host of Championship clubs are reportedly showing an interest in the 23-year-old as this season draws to a close.

It is set to be a big summer transfer window for Forest head coach Steve Cooper, regardless of which division the club find themselves in. Tobias Figueiredo, for instance, has stepped in at centre-back and done well in the absence of Steve Cook. Joe Lolley has looked more like his old self in his first few run-outs of 2022. Ethan Horvath is keeping Brice Samba out of the side, after taking his chance while his teammate was suspended. And Cafu always gives his all when drafted into the midfield.
