Nottingham Forest learn what it will take to land Aston Villa star amid Premier League interest

Despite suffering a hamstring injury, Aston Villa loanee Keinan Davis is still a man in demand ahead of the summer transfer window.

Davis joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the remainder of the season after falling down the pecking order at Villa Park. The striker had been breathing a breath of fresh air at the City Ground, netting five times and contributing two assists in the process in his 15 appearances before sustaining an injury against Luton Town.

The injury blow has come at a crucial time for the 24-year-old, as Forest continue pushing for Premier League promotion. Cooper is, however, hopeful that Davis could return for the play-offs next month if the Reds are involved.

According to Birmingham Live, it is understood that Villa will be looking to offload the striker in the summer to make a decent profit after he made the move from non-league side Biggleswade Town back in 2015. While Forest will be keen to take up that offer, they are not alone in Davis' pursuit.

Former Villa boss Dean Smith has been touted with an interest in taking Davis to Norwich City, who are currently battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The player is said to be valued between £5-10million.
