Nottingham Forest fans rave about 'perfect' Swiss striker linked with City Ground transfer

Nottingham Forest fans have described Noah Okafor as "perfect" after a report named the Reds as having an interest in the Swiss striker.

Okafor has lit up the Austrian Bundesliga with nine goals and nine assists in 21 appearances for RB Salzburg. The 22-year-old also has experience of playing on the European stage having featured in the Champions League and Europa League for Salzburg and FC Basel.

Reports in Switzerland have named Forest as an interested party in the striker, whose current contract runs until 2024.

Okafor's impressive goal tally this season has not gone unnoticed with Newcastle United reportedly once keeping tabs. German outlet Sport 1 said in March that German sides RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund were also interested.

Head coach Steve Cooper will be prioritising the recruitment of at least one striker this summer and Reds fans feel Okafor could be the "perfect" addition. This is what some fans said about him on social media...

Good numbers for Austria league that

Isn't it nice to be linked to actual decent players instead of left backs from the French 3rd division

This lad is perfect

Those numbers are crazy with only 11 starts. He also plays in a front two with an attacking midfielder just behind. He's literally perfect. Get him in.

This would be an unbelievable signing

I like this like

Get this done @NFFC

This is the most exciting one so far I think

That would be huge

Exactly the kind of player we should be targeting
