Nottingham Forest confirm squad numbers for three new signings

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the squad numbers for new signings Emmanuel Dennis, Remo Freuler and Cheikhou Kouyate after the trio completed their moves to the City Ground.

All three were added to the new faces at the club over the weekend. Dennis joined from Championship side Watford after impressing in the Premier League last season, midfielder Freuler signed from Atalanta while Kouyate arrived on a free transfer after leaving Crystal Palace.

The signings became the 13th, 14th and 15th new arrivals at the City Ground this summer. They could make their debuts in the Premier League trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton next Saturday.

If they do make it onto the pitch then the numbers that the trio will be wearing have now been confirmed by Forest. Dennis will don number 25, Freuler number 23 and Kouyate number 21.

The number 25 was last worn by Mohamed Drager last season. The 26-year-old right-back has joined Swiss side FC Luzern on loan until the end of the season.

Freuler takes the number last worn by Joe Lolley, with the winger’s departure over the weekend allowing the new man to take the squad number. Kouyate has taken the number left free by Braian Ojeda’s loan move to Salt Lake.
