North Shore's Joanne Froggatt once played a major role in popular British soap
Joanne Froggatt, known for her roles in Downton Abbey and Liar, is currently starring in ITV's Saturday night drama North Shore.
Originally an Australian mystery crime thriller television series, it's now being aired in the UK. The plot revolves around British and Australian detective teams who are forced to work together to investigate the murder of the British trade minister's daughter, navigating a complex investigation and cultural differences.
Despite Froggatt's regular appearances on our screens, many seem to forget that she began her career in a popular British TV show. Soap fans might remember her as Zoe Tattersall in Coronation Street from 1997 to 1998.
Prior to this, she even had a role in an episode of The Bill in 1996.
