'No Online Fan Club, No Hype': Virender Sehwag's Massive Verdict On India Star

Legendary Indian cricket team batter Virender Sehwag was all praise for spinner Kuldeep Yadav as he called him "one of the least hyped guys" at the moment. Kuldeep was exceptional on Day 3 of the fourth Test match against England in Ranchi as he stitched together a crucial partnership with Dhruv Jurel and then produced brilliant figures of 4/22 with the ball. Sehwag took to social media to point out that Kuldeep is a cricketer who never had a huge online fan club or people to hype him as the next big thing but he deserves a lot of credit for his impressive performances for the Indian cricket team.

“When it comes to hype, one of the least hyped guys is Kuldeep Yadav. Been exceptional for many years, but never got a online fan club or people to hype him as the next big thing. Deserves a lot more credit and hype than he gets,” Sehwag posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin lauded spinner Kuldeep Yadav and young wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel for their match-saving partnership, praising them for their defence and composure.

A five-wicket haul by spinner Ravichandran Ashwin helped India bundle out England for just 145 runs in their second innings and get a target of 192 runs to seal the series on day three of the fourth Test.

Jurel and Kuldeep had earlier stitched a useful 76-run partnership for the eighth wicket after India was reduced to 219/7, reducing England's lead to just 46 runs after India was bundled out for 307 runs.
