NFL: Ranking throwback logos from 'Bring It Back' to 'Total Disaster'

Sometimes it’s important to look back and enjoy the past, but there are also occasions where you might think that the past is best left where it is.

In the latest in our lost of tier ranking articles, we are going to go back in time and look at some of the old logos of all 32 NFL teams.

As the NFL is more than 100 years old at this point, there have been plenty of changes in how the league has looked, whether it be the number of teams or how the game is played, and as a result there has been plenty of evolution from the teams that call the NFL home.

Some teams have more of a history than others, for instance the two teams that have lasted the longest in the league have been the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals, who both joined the league at it’s inception in 1919, with the league evolving and bringing in more teams over the past few decades, with the final addition being the Houston Texans in 2002.

As is the case with most teams in sport, teams identities have constantly changed over the years, whether it be slight tweaks in the colours like the Seattle Seahawks did in 2011 or if it’s a complete renovation like when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from a lone pirate to the skull and crossbones in 1997.
