Neymar Has Just Taken The Worst Penalty Of The Season, Even He Looked Disgusted

PSG were 3-0 down at halftime after goals from Randal Kolo Muani, Quentin Merlin and Ludovic Blas' penalty.

Neymar scored immediately after the break and had a chance at getting his second from the penalty spot after Kylian Mbappe was brought down.

What happened? Neymar fired his spot kick straight into Alban Lafont's arms.

Fired his spot kick is perhaps giving him too much credit. It was painfully predictable.

It's PSG's second league defeat of the season and it comes after an impressive win against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Fans have reacted to Neymar's penalty and even they can't understand what he was going for.

One commented: "Tamest penalty he’s seen all season? Worst I’ve ever seen if I’m honest."

Another said: "Kissing the ball to just pass it back to the goalkeeper."

A third put: "I can't imagine taking a penalty like that while 3-1 down?"

While someone else tweeted: "There a ton of people try and say this guy was better than THE Ronaldo. Incredible."

Lionel Messi was on penalty duty against 'Los Blancos' and stepped up after Mbappe was brought down by Dani Carvajal.

Courtois spoke after the game and said Messi gave away exactly what he was going to do.

"Obviously he shoots a lot of penalties, so it's hard to guess right," Courtois explained on BT Sport.

"He missed a few on this side, so I think it was obvious he was going to the left. Maybe to the middle, he scored one against Leipzig. I just said 'okay, we'll go left', and I had a good save."
