Neymar gives glowing verdicts on Man City duo Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias

PSG forward Neymar has given his verdict on Manchester City duo Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias.

The Brazilian has faced some of the best players in the world during his nine years in European football at Barcelona before moving to the French capital. Having played at the top of the game for so many years, Neymar is in a better position than most to discuss the pros and cons of the world's greats.

When asked by DAZN, about City main stays Walker and Dias, the 30-year-old was full of praise for both men. Firstly, on the former Tottenham Hotspur full-back, Neymar declared him to be the toughest defender in football.

"He’s fast, strong and intelligent," Neymar said explaining his decision. Moving onto Dias, the PSG man added: "Ruben Dias is a very good centre-back.

"He’s quick and strong. He has quality as well, so that makes it hard to play against him."

The last time Neymar faced both Walker and Dias was in November 2021 when the Parisians travelled to the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League group stages. Goals from Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus overturned Kylian Mbappe's open to provide the three points for Pep Guardiola's side.

Manchester City are not in action this weekend following the death of Her Majesty The Queen. City will return to the pitch on Wednesday night when they host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
