Next Celtic manager hunt LIVE as next boss’ trophy targets laid bare by the men who have gone before

Things appear ro picking up in Celtic's hunt for a new manager.

Record Sport revealed Francesco Farioli has held discussions with club chiefs, as reportedly has Brendan Rodgers after Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay flew out to Majorca to speak with the former Hoops boss.

Enzo Maresca remains on the wanted list and an approach could be made after he helped guide Manchester City to Champions League glory.

The champions' chances of landing Kjetil Knutsen improved after Ajax seemingly moved on from the Bodo/Glimt manager, when it was assumed he was primed to take over at the Dutch giants.

As for the old manager, Ange Postecoglou wants to take John Kennedy to Tottenham with him, although the Hoops assistant may well feel like staying if he is reunited with Rodgers in Glasgow.

Reports in Germany claim that ex-Norwich City boss Daniel Farke is another who has been spoken to as Dermot Desmond looks to cover all his bases after putting everything into getting Eddie Howe last summer, only to be knocked back.

Frontrunner Brendan Rodgers iwll know this of course, as he was one of those bosses to have racked up a huge trophy haul.
