Newcastle United evening headlines: Kieran Trippier boost and Eddie Howe's Allan Saint-Maximin defence

A round-up of your Newcastle United evening headlines on Friday, 1 April.

Scott Parker has flirted with the idea of keeping Newcastle United loanee Freddie Woodman despite a frustrating stint so far. The former Toon captain - currently in charge of Championship high flyers Bournemouth - took a punt on the 25-year-old, who had fallen down the pecking order on Tyneside.
