Chelsea fans may not have to wait long until their new home kit is officially revealed for the 2022-23 campaign. While the summer may be dominated by transfer news there is always plenty of excitement surrounding the new threads each side will don as well.

A number of clubs have already announced their new kits, with Arsenal among those to even wear their new design for the final game of last season. Chelsea have kept their cards close to their chest for now, however, although some leaked pictures of the shirt have offered an insight into what can be expected.

Another update on the shirt emerged this week too. Earlier this year, shirt-sponsor Three suspended their deal with Chelsea after Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by that UK government, but the club confirmed this week that the partnership will continue.

"As a result of UK Government sanctions imposed on Chelsea FC’s previous ownership in March, our official shirt partner Three decided to pause their marketing activities with the Club until the impact of the sanctions on the Club ended," the Blues confirmed in a statement.
