​Pep Guardiola has previously talked up Ederson's ability from the spot and claimed he could be in line to take a penalty amid the club's penalty-taking slump last season.

"He is an option because I am pretty sure he's a good taker," he said during a period where three different Man City players had missed a penalty.

"A penalty taker has to be the personality with huge confidence in himself​."

Unfortunately for those who want to see the brilliant Brazilian to take a penalty, he has yet to step up from 12-yards.
