Netflix film hailed as 'best ever' by fans as star steals the show
Netflix viewers are raving about an action thriller that's scoring a perfect 'ten out of ten' on the streaming platform.
The 2009 film, Law Abiding Citizen, stars Gerard Butler and is directed by F. Gary Gray, known for his work on Straight Outta Compton and The Italian Job.
Penned by Kurt Wimmer, the director behind sci-fi blockbusters like Equilibrium, UltraViolet and the 2020 remake of Children of the Corn, the film tells the story of Clyde Shelton (Butler), who seeks revenge on those responsible for the brutal murder of his wife and daughter.
He also targets the law enforcement officials, including attorney Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), who failed to deliver the justice he so desperately sought.
Many fans have given the film a 'ten out of ten', taking to social media to urge others to watch it. One fan wrote: "'Law Abiding Citizen is a top 10 movie of all time."

Netflix is set to premiere another action-packed flick, Carry-On, landing on the platform December 13.
The film features Taron Egerton as security agent Ethan Kopek, and Jason Bateman plays a mysterious traveller who ensnares Ethan through an earpiece conversation.
In a Christmassy twist, Ethan is manipulated into smuggling a perilous cargo through airport security on Christmas Eve, putting numerous flyers in harm's way.
