Netflix confirms launch date for Holly Willoughby's new show with Bear Grylls

Early this year, the entertainment world buzzed with news that Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls would join forces for a brand-new competition show on Netflix.

The streaming giant has now provided fans with an exciting update via their official Netflix UK and Ireland Instagram account.

A first-look poster of Celebrity Bear Hunt has been shared, alongside the eagerly awaited release date.

In the promotional image, Holly appears kitted out in a khaki green T-shirt paired with camo shorts, hands on hips, gazing into the wilderness.

Netflix has announced that Celebrity Bear Hunt is set to premiere on the platform come 5 February, giving enthusiasts less than two months to wait.

Their announcement reads: "Can 12 celebrities survive being hunted in the Costa Rican jungle by Bear Grylls? Hosted by Holly Willoughby, Celebrity Bear Hunt arrives 5 February 2025, only on Netflix."

The Sun speculates that potential contestants include Spice Girl Mel B, Strictly Come Dancing star Shirley Ballas, rugby's Danny Cipriani, tennis great Boris Becker, designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and Una Healy of The Saturdays fame.

Joining the ranks for what's being dubbed as their most challenging endeavour yet are The Inbetweeners' Joe Thomas, TV presenter Steph McGovern, model Lottie Moss, culinary maestro Big Zuu, and actor Kola Bokinni.

The concept of the programme will have the dozen well-known personalities thrust into the depths of Costa Rica's jungle, where they be hunted by none other
