Neil Lennon offered firm Celtic legacy defence as Joe Ledley claims he created Parkhead 'blueprint' for success

Joe Ledley insists his old Celtic boss Neil Lennon should be remembered as a legend despite the collapse of the 10 In A Row dream.

Lennon left Parkhead in last February in the midst of a disastrous title defence as Rangers romped to Premiership success.

But Ledley believes the Northern Irishman should be remembered fondly by the Celtic support for the five titles he brought to the club during his time as boss.

The Welshman worked under Lennon for four years in Glasgow's east end, winning three league titles and a Scottish Cup in a trophy-laden spell.

He believes that the football philosophy of the club was overhauled by Lennon and set the tone for the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Ronny Deila and Ange Postecoglou.
