Ndombele heads to Napoli ahead of loan move with an option to buy
Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has travelled to Italy ahead of a loan move to Napoli, that includes an option to buy.
The French midfielder had been excluded from Antonio Conte's training sessions as the club searched to resolve his transfer situation - having spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club Lyon.
But now it seems Spurs' club-record signing can finally end his north London nightmare, as he nears a move to Serie A.
The Premier League side received a number of approaches for the Frenchman, with Villareal also interested in his services, but it seems that Napoli have prevailed.
Ndombele signed for Spurs in 2019 for a club-record fee of £65million but struggled to cement a place in the first-team under multiple different managers.
There seemed glimpses of hope for Ndombele's Tottenham career during the tenure's of Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo - but current boss Conte has not been interested in the Frenchman at all.
