Wilfred Ndidi provided an assist as Leicester City defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-1 away in the Championship on Saturday.

Ndidi has now taken his assist in the season to five for Leicester.

Nigerian striker Josh Maja scored West Brom’s goal after coming on.

Kelechi Iheanacho played 90 minutes for Leicester while Semi Ajayi also featured for West Brom throughout the encounter.

Ndidi set up teammate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the first goal in the 72nd minute.

Maja, who came on with 15 minutes left scored in the 89th minute to make it 1-1.

But Harry Winks netted in the 94th minute to give Leicester all three points.

Leicester, on 46 points, stay top in the league table while Ipswich are second on 45 points.
