The San Antonio Spurs are on to the NBA Finals, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103 in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.

San Antonio battled to outlast the defending champs, clinching a spot to face the New York Knicks in the 2026 NBA Finals. It's the first Finals appearance for the Spurs since 2014, which they won. Oklahoma City's loss ensures that the NBA will have a new champion for the eighth straight season.

The Spurs led for 92% of the game, including by 12 points with 3:45 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Thunder made it a six-point game with just over two minutes left, however, it was too little too late.

Victor Wembanyama led San Antonio with 22 points and seven rebounds, while Julian Champagnie added 20 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points and nine assists. Cason Wallace put up 17 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter.

Game 1 of the Finals will be Wednesday in San Antonio.
