Narinder Batra says he is still IOA boss, rivals say 'contempt of court'

Batra's assertion prompted a strong rebuttal from senior vice-president Anil Khanna, who reminded his nemesis that his continuation in the top job will tantamount to contempt of court. Khanna told IOA's staff that from now onwards they will take instructions explicitly from secretary general Mehta, treasurer Anandeshwar Panday and "myself as acting president" with immediate effect.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA), appointed to run Hockey India, on Thursday said it won't object if Elena Norman continues to work for the federation but she must relinquish her positions in the managing committee and executive board of the sports body.
