Napoli vs FC Barcelona: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - match preview

Barcelona meet Napoli in a decisive second-leg showdown in the Europa League tonight.

Only a Ferran Torres penalty could save Xavi’s side from defeat in the first leg of the play-off tie, leaving the clash all square at 1-1 after a Piotr Zielinski opener.

Having failed to make it out of their Champions League group, Barcelona are actually unbeaten in their last five games and new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hit a hat-trick in a big win at Valencia over the weekend.

Napoli, meanwhile, are right in amongst a three-horse Scudetto race domestically and are out to win the Europa League for the first time since 1989.

Napoli vs Barcelona is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off tonight - Thursday February 24, 2022.

The match will take place at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples, Italy.

TV channel: Tonight’s match will be televised live on BT Sport ESPN, after the conclusion of Celtic’s game against Bodo/Glimt.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will also be able to watch the action unfold online via the BT Sport website or app.

Live coverage: You can also follow the game LIVE tonight with Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog.

Napoli have been boosted by the news that Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi and Pedro will be fit for the match after recovering from injuries. All three missed the first leg in Spain.

Gerard Pique returns for Barcelona following a suspension for the weekend win at Valencia.

Missing for the visitors will be Memphis Depay and Clement Lenglet (both hamstring), while Dani Alves is not registered to play in the Europa League.

Barcelona are scoring goals for fun at the moment, but are shaky at the back against a team on a run of three consecutive 1-1 draws. Expect this one to go all the way.

A 2-2
