Naoya Inoue has just knocked out Nonito Donaire in brutal fashion in two rounds

Naoya Inoue unleashed a string of punches that left the referee with no decision but to step in and stop the fight after downing Nonito Donaire before the second round finished.

The Japanese boxer already has his sights on his next move, declaring he wants to become the undisputed bantamweight world champion.

All he needs to become the undisputed champion is the WBO belt which is currently held by Paul Butler.

Could we see Butler challenged by Inoue in the near future? It certainly sounds like it with his aims clear.

It’s three years after Inoue vs Donaire 1, with the Japanese star making it much more comfortable this time round.

First time out in 2019, Inoue had to rely on a unanimous decision rather than a knockout to secure the W, in a bout seen by many as the fight of the year.
