Mystery man in Harry Maguire social media post revealed as Manchester United captain taunts pal

Harry Maguire sent the social media world into a frenzy on Sunday evening when he appeared to photoshop a Leeds fan's face into a picture of his goal celebration at Elland Road.

Maguire gave United the lead in the first-half before Bruno Fernandes scored to double the away side's advantage before the interval.

The hosts hit back at the start of the second-half with goals from Rodrigo and Raphinha, but strikes from Fred and Anthony Elanga ensured United took all three points from the home of their fierce rivals.

Maguire took to social media to celebrate the result later that evening but there was one noticeable oddity in the picture he uploaded.

A lot of supporters on Twitter spotted that a Leeds fan had been photoshopped into the front row of the picture.

One eagle-eyed follower said: "Please explain the photoshopped face, I am not going to be able to sleep tonight."

While another asked: "Bro, who is this?"

Maguire eventually revealed to his Twitter following exactly who the mystery man was.

"He was at the ground but not in the pic.

"He’s been giving us some stick all week so thought I’d add him in."
