MUST demands show Glazers have failed to fulfil promise to Manchester United fans

Perhaps never before has a football club owner been so much in the public eye yet failed to communicate with fans.

Avram and Joel Glazer have been plastered across the back pages and sports news home screens for the past six months yet the last time they directly addressed Manchester United supporters was back in November.

The only times Avram has spoken about the sale since then is when he has been approached by journalists, one of which came before the World Cup final. The 62-year-old was present at Wembley for both the men’s League Cup triumph in February and the women’s FA Cup loss on Sunday.

He had another opportunity to at least acknowledge a question about the takeover process in the mixed zone afterwards but chose to ignore. Nobody is expecting the fine details of negotiations to be disclosed, but a general update is the least supporters deserve.
