'Must be a joke?' - Man United fans share Cristiano Ronaldo theory after Marko Arnautovic update

Manchester United fans have been sharing their disbelief at the news Erik ten Hag is open to the idea of making a move for Marko Arnautovic.

Business has been slow for United so far this summer with just three new signings arriving at Old Trafford. Ten Hag is desperate to strengthen his attacking options over the coming weeks, with Ajax star Antony one of the players on the United boss’ radar.

However, with a whole host of big-name players having already left Ajax this summer, they’re in no position to need to sell any more of their prized assets and appear to have priced him out of a move. Ten Hag is now on the lookout for other targets and the Manchester Evening News revealed on Sunday evening that former Stoke City and West Ham United forward Arnautovic is being considered.
