Manchester United to 'swap' Cristiano Ronaldo for Antoine Griezmann and more transfer rumours

Cristiano Ronaldo's representatives have reportedly held discussions with a number of clubs as Atletico Madrid are believed to be considering offering Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United to facilitate a deal.

According to The Times, Diego Simeone impressed Ronaldo with his commitment and eagerness to work with the 37-year-old. They report that Atletico are willing to use Griezmann or Alvaro Morata as part of any potential deal that would see the former Real Madrid player join the Spanish club's rivals.

The negotiations are thought to have come about following Erik ten Hag's recent decision that he is open to selling the Portugal international this transfer window. In the same report, it is claimed that the manager is unhappy with Ronaldo's behaviour within the United squad and the Dutchman is now open to letting the 37-year-old leave.

Elsehwere, Football Insider report that United have missed out on the signing of 17-year-old wonderkid Sayha Seha.

They report that United held talks with the attacking midfielder this summer over a potential move - but the teenager has opted to join Marseille after a 'breakthrough in negotiations'. The fee is believed to be £8.5million for the midfielder that is yet to make his professional debut.

Although United have bigger concerns in the transfer market right now, missing out on the highly talented youngster will be a blow to the club's long-term planning. They boast an array of exciting young players at the club and Seha would have bolstered their already impressive youth set-up.
