Murray takes player of the month accolade for September

Niamh Murray from Armagh county champions Clann Éireann has been honoured with The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for September.

Murray produced a player of the match performance as Clann Éireann retained their senior title with a 1-15 to 0-04 victory over Carrickcruppen last month.

The 23-year-old scored 1-6 in the decider to back up her 0-06 against Ballyhegan in the semi-final.
