Mumbai Indians 2022 Players List: Check team updates and full team squad in mega auction
Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians hogged the limelight at the two-day long mega auction, spending the most for a player when they bought back Ishan Kishan for a whopping Rs 15.25 crore. Young wicket-keeper batter Inshan's price tag was the second highest ever for an Indian at an auction after Yuvraj Singh's Rs 16 crore.
On Day 2 of the auction, Mumbai went big for Singapore allrounder Tim David and England speedster Jofra Archer after buying just four players on Day 1. After a fierce bidding war with Punjab Kings, MI signed Archer for Rs 8 crore.
They then spent Rs 8.25 crore for David, who played for RCB in the last season.
