Muhammad Ali's epic speech after beating George Foreman will get you seriously pumped up

Muhammad Ali delivered an epic victory speech after he beat George Foreman to regain the world heavyweight titles in October 1974.

The boxing legend rolled back the years to reclaim the WBA, WBC and Ring magazine heavyweight titles he lost to Joe Frazier from the terrifying undefeated 25-year-old undisputed world champion who was seven years his junior in Zaire, Africa – a fight that would go down in the history books as ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’.

On October 30, Ali, who at the time was considered the underdog, knocked out Foreman in front of 60,000 people.

A topless Ali was filmed giving his critics a piece of his mind in an impassioned speech in his post-fight interview just moments after he made history.

Evidently he had quite a lot of things to get off his chest having been written off by many.

And a clearly emotional Ali says: “Everybody, stop talking now – attention.

“I told you, all of my critics, I told you all that I was the greatest of all time when I beat Sonny Liston.

“I told you today I’m still the greatest of all time.

“Never again defeat me, never again say that I’m going to be defeated, never again make me the underdog until I’m about 50 years old – then you might get me.

“But I didn’t dance, I didn’t dance for a reason.

“I wanted to make him lose all his power. I kept telling him he had no punch, he couldn’t hit, he’s swinging like a sissy, he’s missing, let me see you box. I hadn’t started dancing yet.

“You made him a bad George, you made him a hard puncher, but I want everybody from this moment on to recognise me as the star of boxing.
