MS Dhoni's First Appointment Letter For Indian Railways - Old Picture Goes Viral

There will hardly be any cricket fan in India who doesn't know the story of legendary Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni. Be it his humble background or his days of struggle, the fans are well acquainted with everything that is connected to the cricketing great. Such is the craze of Dhoni among the fans that he is still adored by them with the same intensity as was the case during his days of international cricket. A glimpse of fans' love for him was seen on Sunday when the host broadcaster, during the India vs England Ranchi Test, showed Dhoni's appointment letter for Indian Railways. The fans wasted no time in sharing and talking about it so much that it went viral on social media.

Dhoni worked as a ticket collector in the Indian Railways before quitting the job to pursue his dream of playing for India.

It is worth noting that Dhoni is the only captain to have won all the major ICC white-ball tournaments -- T20 World Cup (in 2007), ODI World Cup (in 2011) and Champions Trophy (in 2013). He called time on his India career in 2020, but continues to play Indian Premier League.

Dhoni, the joint most successful IPL captain with five titles to his name, will return to action after almost a year when the new season of the cash-rich league gets underway on March 22.

In the opening match, Dhoni's CSK will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The wicketkeeper-batter has been out of action since the IPL 2023 final where CSK defeated Gujarat Titans to lift the trophy in Ahmedabad.
