Move made: Paratici attempts to hijack European giants as he eyes 'pearl' signing for Spurs

As per Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur, and by extension their club chief Fabio Paratici, have attempted a hijack move ahead of European giants AC Milan amid the Italian’s new transfer plan.

According to recent reports, the Spurs managing director has new transfer plan in place for the summer window as he aims to bolster Antonio Conte’s options.

The Daily Mail claim Paratici will target ‘talented youngsters’ and ‘players with dwindling contracts’ with the Italian ‘under pressure’ to deliver in the next window.

As well as the long-linked Djed Spence, it is believed that promising AS Monaco starlet and soon-to-be free agent Mamadou Coulibaly is on the radar (Mail).

Calciomercato, sharing an update, say that Paratici and Co have now attempted a cheeky pre-summer hijack move ahead of seven-time Champions League winners Milan.

The Italian outlet say Spurs and Man City have made a move for Coulibaly to try and ‘burn the competition’ ahead of Milan.

This comes as the San Siro side intensify contacts with the 17-year-old’s entourage ahead of the summer, and while he is ‘fascinated’ by Milan’s interest, Paratici still has a chance of signing him.

Coulibaly still hasn’t made a final decision on his next destination and it is believed one won’t come until April.

Yet to make his senior debut for Monaco, he still holds a glowing reputation on France and is seen by Milan chiefs as a ‘jewel prospect’ – already drawing comparisons with Real Madrid sensation Eduardo Camavinga.

Also labelled a ‘pearl’, as shared by Forbes writer Tom Sanderson, it appears Paratici and co are right to target the teenager and for free it could be a no-brainer.
