MotoGP Mugello: Dixon ‘ready for the challenge’

Jake Dixon lines up as part of a triple attack at Mugello as the Inde GasGas Aspar Team fields former ItalianGP winner Mattia Pasini for a home Moto2 wildcard.

Alongside his 2017 victory, Pasini was Dixon’s replacement at Aspar for the 2019 Spanish Grand Prix, with this season seeing the pair in action together with Albert Arenas at the Tuscan track.

The British rider is hoping for success at the historic Italian venue after a difficult run of form has seen him without a points score since he claimed his maiden podium at the Grand Prix of the Americas back in early April, despite a strong qualifying performance yielding two front row starts. “I feel good, ready for a new challenge,” Dixon said.

“I love Mugello and we are going to continue working there as we have done up to now, fighting for the top positions.”
