Motherwell v Aberdeen: How to watch Premiership crunch and who is the ref

Motherwell welcome Aberdeen to Fir Park on Saturday for the second time in seven days, and will be hoping for a repeat of their 2-1 Scottish Cup fifth round win.

That victory - a third for Graham Alexander's side over the Dons this term - proved to be the final straw for Stephen Glass, who was relieved of his duties on the Sunday.

The Steelmen were a goal down to Christian Ramirez's header, but fought back through goals from Kevin Van Veen and Connor Shields to turn it around before the interval.

Motherwell also beat their illustrious opponents at Pittodrie back in November, with a Van Veen double earning them a 2-0 win, and the Dutchman was also on target alongside Juhani Ojala in a 2-0 Fir Park win on September 11.

Alexander's side are fifth in the table, due to a slow start to 2022, but could move back up the table to fourth place with a win.

Barry Robson will be in the dug-out for the Dons as the search for Glass' replacement continues.

Crowds are allowed back in to Fir Park, so tickets are available for this one, but if you can't make it, the game will be streamed live on Motherwell TV and you can buy a pass here for £12.

Referee for Saturday's game is Nick Walsh, who will be assisted by Sean Carr and David Dunne, with Chris Fordyce as fourth official.

Walsh has been quite 'enthusiastic' this season, with 113 yellow cards and eight reds issued in 28 games.

He has been in charge of three games featuring Motherwell this season, including their 2-1 win over Morton at Fir Park in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Saturday, January 22, and a 2-0 victory at home to St Johnstone on December 18.

One of those eight red cards were shown to Motherwell captain Stephen O'Donnell during a 6-1 defeat at home to Rangers on October
