Motherwell bolster squad with North Macedonian midfielder

Motherwell have further boosted their squad with the signing of holding midfielder Davor Zdravkovski on a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old was last with AEL Limassol in Cyprus, where he made 161 appearances, having joined in 2017.

Zdravkovski, 25, has also played for Cyprus, and appeared in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.

Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell told the club's website: "Davor is an exciting signing for the club.

"He is someone who we feel will fit into the system that we are trying to implement here.

"He has been in international squads, which shows the quality he has displayed in Cyprus and North Macedonia.

"The staff here have done an excellent job in scouting and getting the transfer done.

"The fact he is an unknown player to most Motherwell supporters makes it more exciting for everyone."

Zdravkovski said: "This is a new challenge and a new chapter for me.

"I look forward to working hard with this club and will do my best to bring joy to the fans."

Zdravkovski will wear the No.17 shirt, but is unavailable for today's squad against Queen's Park.
