Moses Odubajo shares message with QPR supporters ahead of his upcoming exit

Moses Odubajo has taken to Instagram to share a message with Queens Park Rangers’ supporters ahead of his upcoming departure from Loftus Road.

As revealed by the club’s official website, Odubajo is set to leave the club when his current contract expires on June 30th.

The right-back sealed a move to the R’s last summer after impressing in a trial during pre-season.

Odubajo went on to make 33 appearances in all competitions for QPR last season and was deployed in a number of different roles by the club’s former manager Mark Warburton.

With new boss Michael Beale keen to stamp his own authority on the club’s squad, he has made the decision not to extend Odubajo’s stay.

Set to become a free-agent next month, the 28-year-old will now be on the lookout for a new club ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Odubajo’s departure may lead to the R’s strengthening their options at right-back as they are currently only able to call upon the services of Osman Kakay.

Ahead of his exit, Odubajo has admitted on Instagram that he is grateful for the support that was given to him during his time with the R’s by the club’s fans as well as the staff.

Odubajo posted: “I’m sad to say that unfortunately my time at @officialqpr has come to an end.

“From the minute I started last summer, my love for the game came back and continued throughout the season.

“I am grateful for the support everyone at QPR showed me, from the fans, to the backroom staff, to the board.

“I will forever appreciate it and would like to say thank you and good luck for next season!”
