Video footage has captured the moment Morrissey was rushed off during a performance after members of the crowd stormed the stage.
A number of fans surrounded the singer at a gig in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday night (November 2). And according to reports, the former The Smiths frontman was forced to leave the show early.
The disruption came near to the end of the concert but the singer was forced to stop the show mid-song. Videos posted online show a number of fans storming the stage to embrace Morrissey, with the singer hugging the fan back. Many of them are intercepted by crew members.

In one Youtube clip, shared with the Manchester Evening News, one woman can be seen running over to the singer before being stopped by on stage security.
Seconds later, a number of other individuals run across the stage towards him as various other crew members intervene. The members of security staff then appear to be overwhelmed by the stage invaders getting to the singer, and escort Morrissey away.
A crew member can then be seen heavily limping away from the stage, helped by another crew staffer, appearing injured. The music comes to an abrupt halt and the crowd begins to boo at the end as Morrissey makes an exit.
The singer, from Urmston, who rose to fame as the frontman and lyricist of rock band the Smiths, has not yet issued a public statement on the incident. He is next due to perform in Arkansas on Monday (November 4).
