Morrisons urgently recalls food item over fears packs could contain metal
An urgent recall of supermarket packets of chicken has been announced over fears they could contain metal. The Food Standards Agency said Morrisons has recalled two different types of cooked chicken because they 'may contain small pieces of metal'.
The chicken products affected by the recall notice are 'Morrisons Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken 400g', and 'Morrisons Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken 170g', with use by dates up to and including June 16.
The supermarket has told customers to return the affected packets, where they will be entitled to a full refund even without a receipt.
