Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: Free demo revealed ahead of game's release

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak has a free demo available to play right now ahead of its launch later this month.

The upcoming Rise expansion will give players the chance to jump into the world of Sunbreak before it releases later this month.

Capcom revealed more about the Sunbreak expansion at their own Capcom Showcase presentation earlier this week and they revealed that the demo would be hitting stores on June 14.

That is available for both Nintendo Switch and Steam.

The new trailer for the game has also showed off some of the new monsters, as well as a return to the jungle area of the game, featuring a forest area, a beach, and ruins, as per Gamespot.

The demo will feature the jungle location and a number of quests that players can play before Sunbreak actually comes out.

There will be a short tutorial in case players are jumping into Monster Hunter with this release, and there will be four quests that continue to rise in difficulty.

Capcom has also revealed that there will be a number of further updates down the line, all of which are going to be free.

The first update will feature Lucent Nargacuga and a number of other monsters, as well as a new locale and rare and special species monsters. That is coming in August.

In the fall, there will be a further update with rare species and subspecies monsters, while a winter update will bring with it several more monsters.

There will be continued support for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak throughout 2023, too, although details for that have not yet been revealed.

As and when we receive more information, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Sunbreak is released on June 30. Monster Hunter Rise was first released on Switch last year but received a PC port in January.

Keep it tuned to
