Moment Warehouse Project clubber gets down on one knee to propose on dancefloor
A couple who got engaged during a night out at Warehouse Project this weekend say they are ‘over the moon’ after being granted free backstage passes for the rest of the club night's season by Sacha Lord.
Dee Laurie, 32, was enjoying the Warehouse Project line-up on Friday night (September 15) at Mayfield Depot when her partner of two and a half years Stephen Ciotkowski, 31, proposed to her in the middle of the dancefloor in footage which was caught on camera by friends.
Having said yes to Stephen’s proposal, Dee said it was the ‘best night’ of her life after travelling up to the club night from Cleveleys, near Blackpool, to see headliner DJ Sonny Fodera in action.

“It’s all a bit of a blur now but I remember hearing one of my friends shout at Stephen ‘you need to do it now!’ and I was just thinking ‘oh no’,” mum-of-two Dee told the M.E.N. “He’s been acting strange for the last few weeks so I knew he was up to something suspicious.
“He tapped me on the shoulder, and when he opened the box, the ring was upside down. I said yes to him after telling him three times that the ring was upside down!”
Dee and Stephen met on Bumble at the start of 2021 and have been inseparable ever since. The pair often travel to Manchester to enjoy club nights in the city and said it’s become ‘their thing’ to do together.
“We’ve gone to Victoria Warehouse and Creamfields together - raves are our thing,” Dee explains. “We went to see Joel Correy at Victoria Warehouse in March and Stephen got a bit of the bug and said he wanted to go to Warehouse Project as we’ve
