Moment fan proposes on stage at Shania Twain concert in front of 20,000 people
Two fans got engaged on stage during Shania Twain’s massive show at Manchester’s AO Arena in a heart-warming moment seen by 20,000 people.
The country pop singer was performing in the city on Monday night (September 25) as part of her Queen of Me tour. Alongside singing all the classics, like That Don’t Impress Me Much and Man! I Feel Like a Woman, the superstar performed on a motorbike and made an impromptu appearance from within a box in the middle of the crowd as part of the opening number.
But one touching moment came as the singer prepared to perform the hit ballad From This Moment On. Inviting a number of VIP fans on stage, the singer took photos with each of the guests before one of the fans proposed to his girlfriend. Thankfully, she said yes.

Cheers from the sold out show celebrated the moment between the couple, who have not been identified yet, as Shania herself congratulated the pair. “That’s so beautiful,” she told them on stage.
“Congratulations. I will dedicate this song specifically to the two of you. Congratulations. I’m happy you said yes!”
Fan Paula Drury was in the crowd with friend Lynne Walsh, celebrating her 60th birthday. Speaking to the M.E.N, Paula, who is a professional singer, said the moment was ‘magical’.
“To see that was just so lovely,” she explained. “It was such a nice moment. I’ve had fans propose at my shows before and it was just amazing."
