Tommy Fury has reportedly had to make a significant adjustment to his close-knit team, following reports that his father, John Fury, will no longer play a major role in his career. Mail Online reported that Tommy's fiancée, Molly-Mae Hague, has given the 25-year-old a set of conditions to win her back, which includes a ban on parties and contributing more to family life rather than focusing solely on his boxing matches.
The report also suggests that Fury Snr will no longer be involved in his son's business venture. Since 2019, John had been serving as a director alongside his son at Fury TNT, but his appointment was terminated last week.
The company's most recent published accounts from January 2023 showed it had assets worth £361,767. The company, whose name is derived from Tommy's boxing nickname, lists its business nature as 'sports activities'.
Fury Snr, aged 59, has faced a barrage of criticism over the past year, with many seeing him as a hindrance to his sons. He was removed from Tyson's corner ahead of his high-profile rematch with Oleksandr Usyk last month, following heavy criticism for his involvement in the Fury camp prior to the first bout with the Ukrainian.
John Fury made waves at Tommy's press conference with Darren Till back in November, when security had to step in as he began squirting water at Till, sparking a fracas that was only diffused after both fighters were restrained and separated.
