Mohamed Salah transfer fee revealed amid Chelsea move possibility as Liverpool handed major blow

Mohamed Salah's potential transfer fee has been revealed, with the Egyptian reportedly open to joining another Premier League side next summer. The 29-year-old, who sees his contract at Anfield expire in 2023, is said to consider a free transfer to a rival of Liverpool's if he doesn’t receive a 'significantly improved' offer from the Reds, according to The Athletic.

Chelsea are among three potential Premier League clubs that could poach Liverpool's talisman, with Todd Boehly keen to attract star-studded names to Stamford Bridge this summer. The American-led consortium, who completed a £4.25billion takeover of the west London club on Monday, are expected to 'push for A-list signings' to mark a new era at Stamford Bridge, according to the MailOnline.

And, Boehly is eager to bolster the Blues' armoury; The Telegraph indicate that after player sales are taken into account, Thomas Tuchel is set to have £200million at his disposal to strengthen his side. A portion of which could be set aside to fund a deal for Salah, with a decision regarding his future on British soil - coincidentally - coinciding with Chelsea's takeover dreams.

With just one-year left on his current deal at Anfield, Salah is currently valued at around £59.7million by CIES Football Observatory. Though, if the forward chooses to see out his deal then, of course, he'll be available for free.

Salah has already spoken on his exit from Stamford Bridge, which saw Jose Mourinho usher the winger out of west London. In January 2014, Chelsea paid £11million to Basel for his services, with the then-youngster one of Europe's hottest properties.

He made just 19 appearances
